Website delivery and security
Our hosting provider, Kreativ Media GmbH (KreativMedia), Switzerland, processes connection/request information to deliver and secure the website. Hosting logs can include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, response details and browser information. We use operational information to run the site and investigate faults or misuse.
The inspected production log configuration uses monthly rotation and up to 12 archived files. This does not establish a universal deletion period for active/custom logs or other copies. Provider backups and separately retained recovery copies have their own retention arrangements.
Email enquiries
An email link opens your email application; it does not submit a website contact form. When you email us, we receive the address, message, attachments and other information you provide and use them to respond to enquiries about the project, collaborations, bookings, events or media.
The published contact address, andreasafroluxe@gmail.com, is the website owner’s personal Gmail account. The owner is the only person with access to the mailbox, and automatic forwarding is disabled. Google processes email as the service provider under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy. Enquiry emails are normally retained for 12 months after the last correspondence, subject to ongoing business needs and legal obligations.
Blog comments
Commenting requires a name, email address and comment; a website address is optional. WordPress also processes comment IP/browser information. Every comment is held for manual approval. The commenter’s email address is not displayed publicly; an approved name and comment are displayed with the article. Moderation notifications are directed to the operator mailbox. The launch form does not offer a remember-commenter cookie option.
Pending comments remain until moderation; approved comments remain with the published article unless removed through moderation or a valid request; rejected comments are deleted unless a specific security, abuse-handling or legal reason requires temporary retention.
Optional players and external links
Spotify and YouTube players start off. Spotify loads after an affirmative choice; remembered permission can allow later Spotify players to load. YouTube loads only after Play is pressed. Activated providers receive connection information and may use cookies, storage and other information under their own notices.
Privacy Settings in the footer lets you change or withdraw choices and unload managed players. It cannot recall information already sent or erase provider records/browser storage. The first-party preference record afroluxe_media_preferences contains media choices and an expiry, with no analytics visitor identifier. Choices are valid for up to 180 days after saving; expired stored records are ignored.
External music, social and ticket links take you to independently operated services. Their notices apply there.
Analytics and retained recovery records
The fresh launch does not activate WP Statistics, Jetpack Stats, advertising/remarketing trackers or a newsletter. Any future analytics implementation requires a separate reviewed change and an updated notice as appropriate.
Old production records and historical statistics are not imported into the new public website. The original installation and recovery copies are retained privately for rollback. These records are retained while needed for rollback, subject to legal holds and applicable backup rotation. Once the relaunch has been accepted and rollback is no longer needed, the operator reviews the records for deletion or a justified continued purpose. Separately retained original-site copies are not automatically deleted at launch.
Grounds, recipients and international processing
Processing purposes include responding to correspondence, operating and securing the site, moderating requested comments, administering the website and loading optional media following the visitor’s choice. Reading this policy is not consent.
The operator is in Kenya and hosting is in Switzerland. Gmail and activated media providers may process information in other countries under their applicable terms and privacy notices. This notice does not claim that any particular provider agreement, certification or transfer safeguard has been independently verified.
Security and requests
The website uses HTTPS and authenticated administration. These measures cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may request information, access, correction, objection or deletion; additional rights may apply. Email the privacy contact with enough context to locate your information. Do not send identity documents unless proportionate verification is specifically requested. Requests must be handled within applicable legal deadlines. You may complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner or another competent authority where applicable.
We will update this notice when processing changes and show the updated effective date.
